Setup UPS module

Hello everyone,

I want to set up the UPS module, I am usinf zen cart 1.3.7
I went to the admin section and set it up BUT I don't know where I can make the link between my UPS account and zen cart. Where do I have to go? ?

You don't need your account number in order to get quotes.

Did you set up your store's ZIP Code in Admin->Configuration->Shipping/Packaging ?
If you go to your storefront, are you getting shipping quotes?

I had a zip code already but in my storefront I can see this :
"We are unable to obtain a rate quote for UPS shipping.
Please contact the store if no other alternative is shown."

I don't know what I can do...

This mod should get me shipping quotes and ship my products too, doesn't it?

Country of Origin223 Postal Code10025

Your Country of Origin should say "United States", not "223".


What addon's/contributions have you installed?

Hello,

I have zen cart v.1.3.7 and I have not added any thing which can change the countries. I had just never create the country United States
I have done it and actually I have installed the mod upsxml instead. Do you think it is better than the UPS one already installed?
(I want to use the shipping just with UPS and use the tracking if it is possible).

The UPSXML mod offers rate quotes the same as the non-XML mod.
Neither module deals with tracking though.

Do you know if there is a way to get the tracking...
for exemple get from UPS the tracking number and tell the customer the adress to check their package....

While it could be done, you're looking at extensive custom coding work.
Most shops use a combination of Worldship and their online store. Some incorporate the Ty Package Tracker mod to assist in the email notification and tracking number handling. But it still requires copy/paste between systems etc.
