Change category id

Hi,
Just wondering how to change the category id, for all sub categories?

For example I would like all subcategories for women, to be between 1 and 200, so that when I use the Multiple Categories Link Manager, I can see which are for women and which numbers are for men.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Sorry, the id is an auto-incrementing field and can't safely be changed.

The only way to to what you want would be to start fresh with a cart with no categories and create all the women's and then all the men's categories.

If you later want to add another women's category, its id will be the next unused one, not grouped with the other women's cats.

You could get around this by creating a bunch of blank women's cats and disabling them until you want to use one for a new women's item.
