    Default Help with server error

I'm attempting to migrate a zen cart store from one server to another, following this article:
    https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=99

I've uploaded the files from the old server to the new one, as instructed. In step 5, when I go to www.mystore.com/catalog/zc_install, I get the following error:

    Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Please help. Thanks.

I need to change the permissions of ALL folders to 755? Also, is there anything that I can do about running php as cgi?

Ok try chmoding the config.php files to 755

php as Cgi is a good thing,
it eliminates the need to have files or folders set to 777
it also allows you to block sending email as nobody.....

I chmod'ed the configure.php files in the following directories and this did not help:

    catalog/admin/includes/configure.php
    catalog/includes/configure.php

What details are showing in the server error log at the time when this happens?

What happens if you rename the /zc_install/.htaccess file to htaccess_OFF ?

Re-naming the .htaccess file does not make a difference.
