    Can you get a screen shot of your Admin->Modules->Order Total area?

    Use your Admin->Tools->Developers Toolkit, and search all files (bottom field, Catalog option in pulldown) for "Sales Tax" ... what comes up?

    Just this:

    Line #306 : define('TEXT_UNKNOWN_TAX_RATE', 'Sales Tax');

    Have you deleted any Tax Classes from the admin?
    How about old Tax Rates?

    Actually, I believe I did! I think it was the pre-configured "Florida" tax rate.

    Well, I have no idea what's causing it.
    If you say this is a "clean" install with no addons, no added features to change tax issues, no special shipping modules, no special payment modules, no extra pricing-change addons, and you have only one tax rate set up, and have never deleted any Tax Classes, then something must be wrong with your database.

    I cannot reproduce the situation you're describing.

    You might be able to put a bandage on it and hide the 0.00 entry by setting Admin->Configuration->My Store->Sales Tax Display Status to 0.

    The bandaid worked, thanks. I did mention I did delete the preconfigured Florida state tax. I'm not sure why that would duplicate the line but, this will do.

    I appreciate the help, thank you!
