Bi-Lingual country list

Hello all,

Is it possible to have a bi-lingual country list so for example French language users can see a list of countries in French & English language users can see the country list in English.

Any help with this would be very gratefully received.

Download the countries table from your db using phpMyAdmin and simply add the French names alongside the English ones (eg Albania / L'Albanie ). Re-upload it.

Thanks very much for the advice. Would this produce one bi-lingual list, or 2 lists - one for French & one for English.

One - in the format I used as an example "English/French" (or "French/English" depending on how you enter the text.)

This method does not work well for non-latin languages like Chinese. If I put the Chinese name and English name side by side, when displayed on an English page, the Chinese characters display as very unpleasant looking random characters.

I am still searching the forum for a better answer, but so far, nothing...
