I'm still new to ZEN so please be patient

with my "obvious" questions....'cause I'm sure this is one of them = but I'm stuck - and I just can't figure it out with a screaming toddler & a whiney preschooler pulling on me!

I set up a new category & added several products to it (20 or so) & now I want to go in & categorize those products by theme - how do I do that?

It is only giving me the option to add product NOT to add category from here.

(so to explain a little more thorough you click on my category - gift can designs & then it opens with a bunch of designs - where I want to make theme organized by theme & on the bottom there it only allows me to add more designs/products there -it's not asking me to add a new category)

As you have observed, a category can hold either products or subcategories, not both. (Having both can cause random problems with cart functions.)

There are a couple of ways to get new subcats slipped in. You can move all of the products from your category to another category (perhaps a temporary holding cat you create for the purpose), and then make your desired subcats. Once you have those, you can move the products back into the appropriate subcats.

The other approach is to just make a new category with subcats, and move the products over to its subcats and delete the original category.
