Just downloaded tonight and I love it! The only issue I am having is with the 'iv_products_image' field. No matter what I place in that field when I go to the listing the image is broken because the directory is set to Main Directory.
The path is images/transformers_alternators/alternator_sunstreaker.jpg
How can I make it so that it points to transformers_alternators/alternator_sunstreaker.jpg
All my directories for transformers are specific (ex. transformers_leaders, transformers_cars, etc,..) due to thier being so many kinds.
Thanks!!
As Misty mentioned to me earlier, try adding a product the way you want the regular way in your admin, and then in your admin/tools/easy populate you can downlaod EP and Froogle Files: one of them, maybe the Complete should show you, save to your pc, then view it, look for the listing you did, and see how it is worded, then you can do it yourself that way onward for your cvs.
hope this helps as it has me.

I did that first. I used the file I got from EP to create my test listing... still cant the image to load correctly : (
Did you first upload the images to the directory you mentioned?
if so, when you right click on the images on your site and view properties, is it pointing where you want?

That was a typo - my bad. I am still having the same issue. No matter what path I put in the 'v_products_image' the listing is set at Main Directory. I do have the images in the directory before I pload the file.
Also, I use Image Handler 2 but I woundn't that would make a differece, but bcause I do use IH2 when I right click the image to get the location of the image I see where IH2 stores images not where I load them.
Any idea how I can get the upload to point to the correct directory?
Have you first tried instructions in my previous post, shown above.Easiest start method..upload several products to your site,
full entered, with model number, image, description etc etc.
Then export test file from easy populate screen, save to your
home computer...use OpenOffice to view..works better than
excel
This sample file should show how easy populate defines paths
to your image folders.
has anyone tried the latest version 2.76?
I'm getting no error messages; it's saying !NEW PRODUCT! at the end of each line, but nothing is being imported into the database and no new products.
