my distributor product upload to set catagories?

Okay, this is my problem. I have a distributor that uploads their enormous catalog to my site daily. The upload is scattered and not setup in categories when uploaded. I have set my own categories to organize my store, but the upload doesn't recognize them when loading every morning.

My distributor has setup a category called new products, which new product loads into, but i then need to move then to the correct categories, one by one (bcuz it seems your not able to move multipliable products within categories at once) and this is takes way to much time.

My question, is there a program that i can use and setup to automatically populate my daily uploads to the correct categories I have setup? I have read a little about easy populate, but not sure if this would be the correct program for what i need (if there is one). Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. www.mysite.com

You haven't said specifically what data you are uploading, but in general Easy Populate is the tool for this type of activity.

it's electronics product and have about 20,000 from flash memory sticks home automation systems. but if ur asking how it is loaded csv..etc.. I not sure what they loaded it as, but i will verify.

can i do this with the free version or do i need to start wih the advance version?
