CSS Flyout Menu issue - disappearing too soon

Hi again Kobra,

It looks like I'm great at re-creating problems that others are having ... a special talent!

You can see the same effect that Skymax is describing on http://www.possumbooks.com and hovering over "Farmyard Tales" in the Category box. (This is the only category with sub-categories at the moment).

I don't think it's so much a time-out issue as one with the level of accuracy you need with your mouse movement to actually select one of the subcategories. I generally succeed in doing it about one time in every five!

I forgot to mention that I'm using css-flyout-categories-v1.3.0.3.2

I've found out what was causing my problem with this. When I installed the flyout menus the field sizes were too big for the image that I was using in each field so you saw the ugly partial repetition of the image that you see in the screenshot that comes with the download.

To fix the problem, I shrunk the size of the field.

What I didn't understand was that this introduced white-space between the fields, making it almost impossible to move from layer of category to another without the menu disappearing.

The correct fix is to add the "background-repeat: no-repeat;" instructions to your CSS. This leaves the spacing with the required overlap and gets rid of the ugly partial repetition.
