show custom product fields on new and all product pages

Hello all,
I added some custom fields to my products using the method in this thread

and it works great - but I wanted some of these to show up in the new product page and the all products page.
I have tried all of the easy stuff, but the new fields just wont show.
Any hints?

That thread travels all over the place so it is difficult to determine what you have done....

A url to your site and possibly direct to a page(s) would assist

Here is a product page (on a test site, not live yet) - I added a couple of fields for Composer, arranger, online price and ensemble.

I want to have the composer field also show up in the product listings -

primarily new products and all products, but eventually in category view as well.

Are these integrated into the admin side?

Did you create a new "product type"?

Did you edit the tpl_profuct_info_display.php to make them show on the product page?

Yes, i can add the new fields in the "add product" part of admin

No, i just altered exisitng products

Yes, and that one works OK

I am doing that tonigth, I am guessing I need to look at the templates for each page, as well as all the files that lead into it. I think part of the problem may be that I am missing a file somewhere, and the new fields I created are not being added to the array that is being called when I look at the product listings.

The data is initially pulled with /includes/modules/product_listing.php

Add your DB calls there

Thanks for the help... I think I have now found all of the files that need to be altered, its now just a matter of getting the syntax correct.
