New Products Link goes to page error

Please help!

All of a sudden, when you click on the "NEW PRODUCTS" it gives a page error, "Cannot Display the Webpage"

In Firefox, when I click on New Products, it actually takes me to a download menu, and acts like it is downloading an Index.php file.

I switched to the Classic template, to see if this was a sudden problem with my template, and I had the same issue in that template as well.

I tried searching, but could not find this particular problem. I am not getting any error codes in particular, so don't know how to fix.

I did go in to /includes/module and reuploaded the new_products.php, but that didn't seem to help either.

all the other links work find, and I checked the properties, and it seems to look fine to me:

any suggestions on what could be causing this, and more importantly, how to fix?


PS....also, I have a New Products link in the footer of the page as well, and it gives the same results when clicked.

Can't see a problem here. Have your fixed it?

Yes. After hours of searching through code, I found the problem. It actually had nothing to do at all with the any files or code from the store. (Which makes sense, because I didn't make any administrative changes to anythings)

what ended up being the culprit was one of the new products we had entered into the store. The image on that product was causing the problem. (one of my assistants added the product to the store, and didn't check image size. Apparently, it was way too large, and for some reason created this problem!)

There is a problem with one of the image libraries that Image Handler calls to process images. If it's fed a file that it can't handle it just seems to crash. At least you got a message saying the page couldn't be displayed. Normally the pages just stop dead.
