Change orders Status choices...

I want to change/add to the choices in the Status dropdown in Orders (or Super Orders).

The defaults are Pending, Processing, Delivered, Update.

Is this possible?

Found it.... being too lazy.. It is under Admin > Localization > Orders Status

In the admin, one of the order status is "Delivered" which is misleading and goes against what most ecommerce processing. It should be "Shipped" and the notice to the customer should also state "shipped" Saying "Delivered" implies that the merchant knows that the order has been shipped and delivered, whereas they really only know and have control over "shipping" the oder.

Where do i control the order status title/label, and the email that gets sent to the customer? I did a site-wide search on where "delivered" is used, and it's only used in some check-out code, and no where else.

Thanks for this post - I was also struggling with finding where to alter this, searching through files. Should have remembered that everything under the sun is contained in the admin section!

Hi,

I'd like to modify the status "Delivered" in Orders to change it to say "Shipped".

I looked through the zen cart files and could not find this as a simple change, so it must be part of the database.

Has anyone changed this and is it fairly easy to do ?

sorry if it was on the top ten list of "easy button" answers..

I have to say Zen Cart rules !! Now using this after OsCommerce, it is so much easier. Not that OsCommerce is bad, but Zen Cart is way easier to configure in the admin panel. well thought out.

Admin orders screen...

We do not offer any download purchases so I was wondering if we can change the "Delivered" status to "Shipped" and then we can add in the Tracking info in the comments for the customer to receive.
I looked in the orders.php file and can't find it.
Any help would be great!!!
