    hrinfo,
    Did you resolve your issue?

I am experiencing the same problem. All with this module seems fine EXCEPT in Admin -> Event Manager, when I click the "new event" button it does nothing. So I seem to be unable to enter any events.

I am going to start backtracking again through all the posts in this thread in the hopes of spotting something I have missed but I'm really confused by this problem. I am under an urgent deadline so if you can point me at a fix please, please do so.

BTW, the gypsyangel.com implementation looks great! (to the programmer that rolled that out for their customer) Great job getting the calendar mod up and running!

Thanks in advance for any and all replies,
    Ian

    Thanks Ian,
As a non programmer - but just a host - it did go well.

Since I cleaned up every file - just about, I would recommend you looking at that maybe, to see if it resolves the problem.
As you can see by the GypsyAngel site, entry is no problems at all for her.

    Thanks Brad,
You built gypsyangel for that client? Great job, man.

Yeah, I'll stop working on my site and hand clean each of these files I guess, but krikies! I wasn't ready to have to do this tonight, this is seriously going to slow me down. Of course IF I find the offending line tha allows creation of a new event, I will post the solution back here with the cleaned code. But again, YIKES!. If ANYONE knows what would be preventing the "new event" button from actually generating a page that could create a new event, PLEASE put me on it to speed this up.

Brad, thanks again for your replay, and great job on that site, man.

    Ok,
I may be tryibg to staple jello to the wall here.... but

in /admin/events_manager.php... in the switch case area, there look to be a number of re-writes that turn action into "new". Am I mistaken that there IS no:
    case 'update'
    and SHOULD be?

Sorry, it's just importan I get this solved quick and I'm trying to quickly follow the logic of what takes place when "new event" buton gets clicked in events manager.

    Anyone?

Nuts, no discernible improvement. I'm going to have to move on to configuring the rest of this site and hope to get back to this (appears to be) great contribution.

In the meantime, I'm subscribed to this thread with instant email notification on, so if you think you might know why when I click on the "new event" button in admin that nothing happens, do please reply here.

    Hi Brad,

We are much closer than I thought as I am in Blackett

Anyway thanks for all the replies. I have just decided to give up on this script. I have reinstalled everything and went over every single file and tried to clean everything up. I have even removed all the comments in the files to ensure that I am not missing anything. Obviously there is something that I am missing but I guess spending three days on it without success (and without even getting paid for it) it is not worth. Maybe I try again in few weeks time but I have enough for the moment

Anyway thank you again and maybe one day we can catch up for a coffee.

I just wanted to share one thought as to the potential problem. An earlier release of this program included duplicate files which were proceeded with a "." This caused some unusual problems for me until I went back and deleted all the files which began with a "."

If you previously installed an earlier version of this program, I would make sure there are no files such as .events_manager.php or any files which begin with a "." in any of the /admin subdirectories (that goes for all the events calendar files).

I would like to modify this calendar for day events. Where would I look to change the "end date" for "time of the day"?

ooohhh, I am soo frustrated that clicking "new event" does nothing. Am I the only one that has had this problem? Can anyone help here? I'd love to show this to my client tomorrow but not with a broken calendar.
    Thanks,
    Ian

I have this same issue with "Admin -> Event Manager, when I click the "new event" button it does nothing. So I seem to be unable to enter any events."
It works great in my test environment as I have implimented the cleaned files that have been recommended. I then moved the same exact files and all to my live site and now I have this issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
