I dunno about how "on board" I am.. I'm simply investigating this mod to see if it is useful for my client's needs.. Totally appreciate the files..

Seems a bit buggy.. Also it's missing a huge chunk of functionality that I will have to have developed to make this work for them.. What's missing for my client is some kind of RSVP/Guestlist management.. Wanna see if this mod will even be a good foundation to develop upon to get them the full events management system they need..

Glad to have you on board. I am happy to help as much as possible.

I have attached a zipped copy of my version. My version works atreat on 139h, although it has been modified to suit my store and I have yet to resolve a few niggling but tolerable issues as outlined below.

I will PM the original OS mod (as found) for comparison, as it is above allowable size. This copy includes Mac .files, which will need to be separated.


In admin/event_manager

a. the No_Image checkbox in event manager does not function properly.

b. when editing an event, the previously input image is removed from the event, which then requires the image to be re-input.

c. Only one product and additional link can be provided per event.

Generally,

d. To view all events as a list, click on the calendar sidebox heading.

e. the event dropdown should be able to be limited to a prescribed number (say next 20) or timeframe (say within 6 months) of events. ie One event per week would amount to 52 lines in the dropdown, which is far to many to display IMHO. The "Select Event" title is also duplicated in this dropdown and others in this mod.

could someone please tell me where the link is to add events in the admin area?

ive gone through each of the menu drop downs and not seeing it, even when I clicked to bring up the sitemap of admin area, im not seeing it.

IIRC its Admin > Extras > Event Manager.

Have you run the sql?

yes i even went as far as opening my phpmyadmin, and it shows that table

when i go to extras all i got is:

# Extras

* Record Artists
* Record Companies
* Music Genre
* Media Manager
* Media Types

Check for differences between your files and those in the zip of post #172.

thanks, found the issue, when i uploaded the original first, then the diva copy it didnt overwrite all the files

having a new issue with my zen cart and the events calendar.

when you view an ez page which has a back or continue button it will go to
index.php?main_page=events_calendar_include&_month=&_year=&eventmode=eventframe

any ideas why?
