easy Populate showing two times in config

EP 1.5.5 ZC 1.38a
I have removed all files for EP but still have EP in config
Have used developers tools and found no EP listing.
Even after installing 1.5.5 it shows up as 1.5.4
This all started because I could not upload my products.
I have uploaded products many times in the past with no problems,
it seems this all started after upgrading to ZC 1.38a
I have been using ZC for over a year with good results.
If I use ?langer=install it says it installed
If I use ?langer=remove it says config file missing
What I would like to do is a complete removal of EP and then reinstall.

For others that have EP more than one time in config.
Goto your admin open EP in the address bar at the top just after easypopulate.php add ?langer=remove keep doing this until all EP is removed from your config.
Then use the install_sql patch to install it back.
All is ok now but I still cannot upload products.
