Creating a New Language Pack

What would I need to create a new language pack? I want to create one for welsh. My site must be bilingual, english/welsh.

Is it a case of creating all the files from:
1. copy all files includes/languages/english/* to includes/languages/welsh and then changing the definitions

2. create a includes/languages/welsh.php file again just translate the english version.

3. do the same for the admin section?

What else do I need to do.

I need to be able to enter product desc. and title etc. in welsh also - how would this done.

Really depends on how complete and what the default will be. english.php has most of the items that need translating but there are emails and html_includes, your template files etc.

For right now the emails are not bi-lingual and possibly not ezpages but I think that there is a module for this in the downloads section??

Ok thanks for the reply. I'll handle the html_includes too. But what about the database, how would I need to adjust the database to accomodate the extra language, ie setup it's ID and allowing for products to be entered with descriptions in both languages

Setup a test cart and install one of the ready made packs and you will see that in the admin there will be allowances(screens) for each language to enter product descriptions
