I know this is way out thinking for some of you but Of Course we want our Whole shopping cart secure.. After about 5+ years of running a cart and selling 100,000's of products you'd be surprised at the number of emails we've had to answer regarding our cart not being secure. The way i look at it is: We pay for the SSL cert. then why not apply it to the Whole Site. As in it's current state you may get the little lock in the address bar but you don't get the yellow color that normally occupancies it.
May want to look into that in the next update of zen. From my calculations it should be in about 2 weeks, right? Hard for me to keep up......
SSL = your site content is encrypted then sent = slow performance. That is why even site like Amazon or Ebay do NOT have ssl enabled on the whole site.
I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me

I like how put you that "seems to work" Because I got the same... "although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection" etc. Which gives shop owners much grief from our customers. IMHO needs to be addressed... "As in it's current state you may get the little lock in the address bar but you don't get the yellow color that normally occupancies it"

True as this may be that doesn't change the fact that the way they are utilized with zencart, leaves a bit to be desired. It's almost a bug report.
If we pay for the whole SSL then we should at least have it in both forms (lock/yellow bar)on secure portions of our sites.
More importantly our customers should not be subjected to Grey pop up boxes explaing to them that not all data on the site is secure. Thus confusing most of them, scaring away many and making the few that are left to make a choice to "Accept Cert." before entering the site..
All not cool.....
You would not believe the emails from customers telling me my site is not secure that I've had to answer/explain.
