Blocking International orders on certain products

I have some products that are not allowed overseas - how do I set them up to prevent purchase by international customers, while still allowing the products that are allowed?

You would need to write some type of customization to validate the shopping cart and when an international customer (note this would be testing the shipping address) is international it would need to stop that from happening ...

I really need to know how to do this as well. Some of my drop shippers won't ship to certain countries or international at all. I'd love to know what kind of code adjustments or mods to make to get this to work per product. It would be great if i could choose per product whether i'd like Domestic, International, or both shipping.

This would be nice if it were an option you could select on the products page when you are creating the product.
