Tiled background image + shadow?

Hi to all,

Ok, I have figured out how to add tiled background image in CSS,
But what if you want a shadow around your main shop area?
This I can not figure out how to. Can someone guide me how this is done?
I have attached an image what I mean.

Background image -

Look at the home page of this site as it is Zen Cart and view the source for how the shadow is applied

Checked source of CSS but the design you are applying to is shadows, left and right.
But what if left, right, top, bottom?
If method you are applying to, there will be a problem in the corners? Leaving a "blank" space?!
Hmm...need to check other sites how they have done. Still confusing though =)

You could, depending on the look of your design, use the alist-a-part slidingdoor techinque vertically.
