major speed improvement - turn off category counts

Wow,
I just tried to see what the actual difference on parse time and query time was when you let ZC count products on each category or not..

I have 2063 products and 290 attributes.

Configuration / My Store / Show Category Counts. (true meaning it will count and show, false meaning it will skip it totally)


When category count in On:
Parse Time: 1.533 - Number of Queries: 3571 - Query Time: 0.556163852905
Parse Time: 1.585 - Number of Queries: 3570 - Query Time: 0.963440869064
Parse Time: 1.164 - Number of Queries: 3570 - Query Time: 0.460028353241
Parse Time: 1.522 - Number of Queries: 3570 - Query Time: 0.653823009491
Parse Time: 1.106 - Number of Queries: 3570 - Query Time: 0.416240146408


When category count in Off:
Parse Time: 0.723 - Number of Queries: 323 - Query Time: 0.0866609573822
Parse Time: 0.581 - Number of Queries: 322 - Query Time: 0.0749567980652
Parse Time: 0.940 - Number of Queries: 322 - Query Time: 0.137426621323
Parse Time: 1.209 - Number of Queries: 323 - Query Time: 0.087103947876

Look at the number of queries. Hehe big difference.
Wanted you guys to know who havent thought of this and want to improve speed.

So guys and girls who know quite a bit about parse time and query time, are theese numbers ok or a bit too much? Problem is that I would like to have category count on. So I'm mainly looking at having category count on.

Category count is a known resource hog; one of the standard suggestions for speed improvement is to turn it off. V1.4 is supposed to improve this dramatically, per the Roadmap.
