    Default Credit Card Charged - No new order!

    I just created a Test item to test my checkout system. I make it through the check-out and click confirm but it bounces me back to the credit card submit page. It charges my credit card but does not show up as an order on the back-end of zencart.

    I am also having a problem with the shipping of some items... if i click free shipping on this item option it says that shipping is not available in my area.

    Can someone Please help me out with these problems.

    Make sure that you have the Free Shipping freeshipper shipping module installed for products that are Always Free Shipping or 0 weight, where 0 weight means Free Shipping ...

    You'd have to be more specific on your Payment method that you are using to know more of what is going wrong ...

    We have solved that problem. Now i am still running into the problem of going through the check-out. After i click confirm order it sends me back to step 2 of 3 but still charges the credit card. and i have no order info showing up.

    Sorry, can't give you any advice other than to tell you that your payment module is doing something rather unexpected. If it's one of the modules built-in to Zen Cart we might be able to help. If it's one contributed by a third-party author/contributor, you may have to go to them for assistance.

    Symptoms are important. However, repeating them isn't helpful. If you were to share more information such as the payment module you're using, the Zen Cart version on your site, the list of all addons/contributions and any customizations done to your site, etc, you would be more likely to get usable help.

    I am using Zen Cart Version 1.3.7.1
    The payment module is Merchant Anywhere
    I have no other plugins

    Ah okay I talked to my payement module's customer service and they said that it's only supported up to zen-cart version 1.2
    - now the question is, is there an easy way to migrate back to that version of zen-cart?

    I'm actually having this same problem. I'm using the Skipjack module and after a couple of issues, I've got it to charge the card, however, no order shows up. I'm not sure that this is improvement but earlier in this setup, it would show the order and not charge the card...

    Any other thoughts??

    Well, I know what the problem is for my site....

    I changed my page for skip for the customer to be re-directed to- to
    http://www.(YOURDOMAINAME)/index.php...eckout_process

    (I got that from an old post)- It worked fine. My problem is that I have more than one website going to the same Skipjack account and they both need different ways of posting the transaction. When I turn one on- the other stops working and vice versa.

    Well, this is pretty much out of my league. If anyone has any suggestions or needs more details to help out with this, please let me know! This is my first Zen Cart website. I have to say~ the support that everyone shows in this forum is awesome!

    Most merchant account contracts limit your account to be used for one business only. As such, they often don't provide an option to use multiple return page addresses. Some of the more advanced and more secure payment gateways do the transaction in the background and don't redirect between sites. Thus they are able to operate independent of which site they're processing for.

    You'll have to take up your issue with skipjack, or choose another payment gateway solution. Or set up a second account for the second store.
