Shopping cart message

I have this message:

You may want to add some instructions for using the shopping cart here. (defined in includes/languages/english/shopping_cart.php)

So I went in and edited this file. It still says the same thing!!

Any ideas?

Hi,

You edited the default page which will get overwritten by any updates in the future.
You are supposed to use the overrides.
So have a look if you have an
includes/languages/english/your_template/shopping_cart.php
file.
That file is the override of the file you edited. That is the file you need to edit.

OK so don't have this directory - using Red Passion. Where might I find it otherwise? Thanks.

... add the directory, copy the file to it.

Perhaps read the FAQ section on using overrides?

Thanks. I created a sub-directory as follows:

includes/languages/english/red-passion/shopping_cart.php

I then edited the original file shopping_cart.php and uploaded it to the new directory and it worked just fine.
