Need some basic layout help

I’ve been trying to fix a few things for about a month now and I just can’t seem to figure them out.

1a. I’m looking to get rid of the ‘Home’ link next to ‘Log Out’ up at the top of the page. I’m almost positive there is an easy fix for it but I can’t remember where it is. I also want to get rid of the ‘Home’ link in the footer as well, that one I don’t remember seeing so I’m not sure of how easy a fix that will be.

2a. Then in the navigation bar on the left side I want to get rid of the ‘|_’ next to each of the categories, I’m sure I’m just overlooking another easy fix here too.

3a. I want to get rid of the ‘New Products’ section at the bottom of the page, again I know I’ve seen it before but I can’t seem to find it again.

4a. And finally, I want the background behind my products on the product display pages to be white to make all my products look uniform. I had someone else enter most of the products and they didn’t make sure all of the widths were the same so it looks pretty funky. If it’s possible I’d like to put a border around each product on the same page.

Peek in the Layout Settings ... lots of fun things in there for changing the look of the Categories Sidebox in addition to many other wonderful things ...

0 = OFF and any other value is the sort order on the Centerboxes ...

In your custom template, edit the includes/templates/CUSTOM/common/tpl_header.php file. You should be able to comment out the section without having to delete it altogether.
