Need some basic layout help

2a. Then in the navigation bar on the left side I want to get rid of the ‘|_’ next to each of the categories, I’m sure I’m just overlooking another easy fix here too.

Peek in the Layout Settings ... lots of fun things in there for changing the look of the Categories Sidebox in addition to many other wonderful things ...

3a. I want to get rid of the ‘New Products’ section at the bottom of the page, again I know I’ve seen it before but I can’t seem to find it again.

0 = OFF and any other value is the sort order on the Centerboxes ...

1a. I’m looking to get rid of the ‘Home’ link next to ‘Log Out’ up at the top of the page. I’m almost positive there is an easy fix for it but I can’t remember where it is. I also want to get rid of the ‘Home’ link in the footer as well, that one I don’t remember seeing so I’m not sure of how easy a fix that will be.

In your custom template, edit the includes/templates/CUSTOM/common/tpl_header.php file. You should be able to comment out the section without having to delete it altogether.
