Can some old Zenners start me on how to set up a store with different language options for visitors? Thanks.

I have found the language packs and downloaded them. But I don't know how to upload them to my store. Via FTP? The directory and file names are the same as my life site. Will it clash with the current files? Thanks in advance for some help.
