Pictures not resizing??? Help?

I'm having an issue with the images in my product descriptions. When in the product description, you click to see the larger image and the image pops up, but the window doesn't resize itself. This is only a problem on one of the computers I've tried it out on so far.

Computer 1: WinXP using Firefox (2.0.0.7). The image pops up in a tiny (not-resized) window.

Computer 1: WinXP using IE (7.0.5730.11). Image pops up the proper size.

Computer 2: WinXP using Firefox. Image pops up properly.

Computer 2: WinXP using IE (6.0.2800...) Image pops up properly, but very slow to resize.

Computer 3: WinXP using Firefox. Image pops up properly.


Anyone know what on earth the problem could be, and how to fix it??

Same set up as your PC1 - works fine on both firefox 2.0.0.7 and IE7 for me

Is it all products or just one ?

I saw this the ohter day too , possible a caching problem , delete all your files and try again ( using a small app- ATF Cleaner by Attribune works well for me )

Hmmm That could be. It's all products, not just one.

What "started it" was my friend (on computer 3) told me the pics weren't showing up at all for her. Turned out the pop-up was just hidden behind the other windows. Which leads me to another question... Is there a way to make sure the pop-up loads in front of any other windows when it's opened?

It should always spawn a new window on top - unless the window is already open perhaps ! , i would pu tit down to user error and your user clicked on the main page before closing the popup .

I have not implemented it , but take a look at the module - lightbox - it may help by greying out the rest of the site to show the large image.

Well, I was on her computer last night, looks like it was user error on her end, since it worked perfectly for me.

As far as computer 1... I'm still not getting resized pop-up boxes. I downloaded ATF Cleaner, and used that to clear the cache, and it's still not working.

nice little app that ATF cleaner , So simple !

as for the resizing window thing , i did see this the other day on a colleagues PC , put it down to a glitch , I will find out if its still happening or if he fixed it , sorry though running out of ideas !
