service charge on orders

This question isn't very exciting, I realize there's some info about this type of thing in the forum already but I can't seem to wrap my head around it. I want to charge a $2 service charge on every order. Not on each product, just each individual order (whether someone buys one item or 10, the service charge remains $2).

Can someone please explain how to do this as simply as possible?

Try the Low Order Fee module and just change the wording on it.

BTW - I hate handling charges ... esp when they're called Handling Charges or Service Charges. When I see extra fees, I usually put my credit card away and go searching to other sites.
