Like I said earlier in my post, I do not know all the details on why they need that number, but they do require it. However, this thread is going no where fast. The more time I spend on these forums, the less impressed I am with the support. I was not asking anyone to help me break the law, I was asking for advice from what I thought to be experts. I know there are ecommerce sites that do store this information and safely. I was hoping I could get tips on how to do that but it seems it is beyond the scope of these forums.
I do not know exactly how I want that number to get into our system, that is why I came to the community forums. I was hoping that some people with more experience in this matter could help, unfortunately, it seems I could get more advice from a brick wall.
I guess it is true that you get what you pay for.
Perhaps it is time to move beyond a free shopping cart.
