Assitance with custom navigation

I'm customizing a cart system and for the life of me, I can't figure out why the yellow nav bar I've added will not go full width as it does on the main part of our site:

I think you may have more problems than just that. Have you looked at your site in Firefox?

In FF, it's showing as a broken yellow bar. Also, you've got define statements peeking through that need to be changed/deleted. And your search box is down at the far left corner by itself?
