    Default Authorize.net error!

I'm using authorize.net. I activated the module, input the correct information, placed it in test mode, and everything worked just fine.

I switched it over to Production Mode, and now....

Here is the error after I submit the card

The configuration with processor is invalid. Call Merchant Service Provider.
    - Your credit card could not be authorized for this reason. Please correct
any information and try again or contact us for further assistance.

Any ideas on how to correct this?

    Thanks!

Yes ... one idea: Follow the instructions: Call your Merchant Service Provider.

Most likely your account isn't properly configured to talk to your bank. You'll need to talk to tech support about that and get things sorted out on their end.

I did see this same error with a client's site recently, and it turned out that the Merchant service provider had set them up on the wrong processor platform for their Account type. After they resetup his account (processor), the transactions started going through.

Unfortunately, we are still seeing errors in his transaction reports:

General Error (Invalid Configuration with Processor)

    Anyone else seen this occur?

Do you think it is anything I need to remedy on the config file side?

No. You'll have to call the gateway/merchant processor company.

    Thank you, Dr Byte.

I think it may have been remedied now. After uploading the latest AIM files (the Sept 07 file you posted), the issue with the repeat order ids did get resolved and I asked the owner to perform a couple more test orders this morning. After he did that, I could see the orders come in and the transactions in Authorize.net just fine. There were no errors present in the Unsettled transactions area.

I told him that if he sees another error later related to the "processor", especially if it is when those unsettled transactions move to the "settled" area....that must be with the merchant account provider and he needs to call them. I also wrote an email to the merchant service rep to notify her about all the recent errors and tests.

So I can re-enforce that this kind of error with "invalid processor set up" or "invalid processor configuration" is related the merchant account, NOT Zencart or the AIM module.

Just a short note to say that the AIM module in 1.3.8 is even newer than the one you mention, and has a few more small improvements. It's worth the upgrade to 1.3.8 :) (how's that for a plug!)

Actually it's interesting that you say that, because it looks like they are using version 1.3.8. But they were having that duplicate order id (order ids not properly passing to the invoice id in the gateway) issue, so I located the thread in the forums and replaced the files.

I was not the original Zencart developer on this site; I was only hired to do some gateway integration and troubleshoot some other settings. I wonder if the developer they have in China maybe had some incorrect configurations in there, or maybe they had mistakenly uninstalled the AIM mod and reinstalled an older one....the one that was there when I acquired access last week did not have any of the latest features including MD5 Hash option.

    Thanks again.

If you're finding mismatches, you might want to check to see whether they did an incomplete job of upgrading ...
