Zen Cart 1.3.0.2 and PHP5

Does Zen Cart 1.3.0.2 support PHP5? I'm currently running zc1.3.0.2 and my hosting provider is upgrading to php5, mysql5, and phpsexec...I know I need to upgrade but quite honestly I'd really like to put it off until after Christmas if at all possible.

Will my setup work? Thanks in advance.

There are a lot of iffy issues with Zen Cart v1.3.0.2 ...

We are not even claiming Zen Cart works with php 5.2.x until Zen Cart v1.3.8 at least ... but you can get away with it in v1.3.7.1 ...

The best solution is to rebuild in a working directory with a working copy of your Live database until you have things running happily then take your existing Live database and do a test upgrade on that ...

If all is working correctly, you are ready to set your site Down for Maintenance and do a real upgrade ...

A forum search on /new_shop over the last year will give you numerous examples and explanations in brief and in great detail as to how to do upgrades safely ...
