    Default A simple question

I know this might sound silly to you but since I am new to ecommerce it's not so silly to me, so here it goes.

Once I finish larning how to use zen cart is there a one button erase all to start with a clean template or do I need to delete everything one by one.

Just one more question paypal say's to start using zen cart all I need to do is turn it on. What exactly do they mean "turn it on"

Easiest way to learn is set up TWO seperate zencart installs..
Take the option to install demo products on first install.
Practice on install one.. then when you feel confident, use all info
learnt and start using install two, which will be your MAIN
    zencart... HTH

WOW!!! now that is what I call a quick reply, I've just moved over from virtuemart and believe me when I tell they're forums are filled with many unanswered questions so this is a welcomed relief.

Ok I do have two installed but my host which servage.net has an autoinstaller and I chose to do it that way, and I wasn't given the options of whether or not I should install the samples. So I guess if there isn't a clear all button then I should delete it one by one. Is it safe doing that though??

Your choice how /if..but personally have never auto installed zencart..
too many problems when updates are released...and as you have discovered,
not all options are available i.e. install demo cart with all products
    and images, as shown at
    http://zencart.net/demo/

These are things you learn as you go along, I didn't know. So what do you suggest should I delete it and then do a manual install. If I do that I'm not so sure on how to correctly configure or create a database. I'm a 3d modeler and have only just ventured into this new world.

correctly configure or create a database
Your hosting should have some sort of information on how to create a database and database user.
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

When installing, take the option to install demo images/products

I think it's well worth it to install the demo, you learn heaps that way.
