Only Applying Discounts To Selected Products

When Using Discount Groups, Is It Possible To Have Discounts Applied Only To Certain Products Or To Exclude Certain Products From The Discount? For example - I have setup a group with 15% discount, but I do not want that discount applied to certain products. How can I accomplish this?

I'm looking for the same thing. Would be nice if you could do that instead of applying it to the whole category. Salesmaker , and special is nice to but I need to only apply certain discounts to certain Item in the same category.

I need this also. I have one product that cannot be discounted because there is no markup built in. I have created a group discount and added the customers who belong in that group, but I can't afford to sell one of my items at the same discount for which they received the other products. Is there a way I can exclude that product from being added to any cart of a customer who has the group discount?
I am very, very new to Zen-Cart and am still trying to understand the programing.

Any help would be much appreciated.

There must be a work around to this problem. I have only one product that cannot be discounted. I have group pricing set, but I need to exclude the one product that cannot be discounted. Anyone have any ideas?
