Site Layout Very Distorted after Moving Directories

  define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/');
  define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_ADMIN', '/admin/');
  define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');

The one you posted belongs at /admin/includes/
Also make certian that you also edit the one at /includes

EDIT: It worked! ...and I still have some hair left!

Now, do I have to have that htaccess file present? There currently isn't one present in the current directory.
