Hello everyone! I was just looking over my "Last 10 Visitors" report from the Supertracker mod and noticed that a few of my customers came through Google image search. Turns out that they were only from one of my images -- one that is coded in regular html on my "Happy Vintage Wearers" page.

This led me to wonder about the alt text for our product images. It seemed like it could be a great way to get traffic to our site. For instance, if someone put in "vintage jacket" in Google image search and up came one of my jackets and they followed the link to my site... you see where this is going.

So then I checked my site and it seems like the alt text is automatically added as the product title when we add the products to our catalog.

So then I tested Google image search by searching for one of my product titles and there were no results. So maybe Google does not use the alt text as how they search? They are searching probably with some intricate matrix of conditions... ?

Anyway, I know this is long-winded. Just wondering if anyone had any insights about this. I would love it if my products would somehow come up in their searches!

Thanks so much and hope you all are having great success with your shops!
