HoverBox2

I have HoverBox2 installed and it's working just fine ... most of the time. There are times when viewing a product and when the image is clicked, the browser window opens and shows just the image. Below are 2 picture examples. The 1st is HoverBox2 working. The 2nd picture is when HoverBox2 fails to work.

The weird thing is I can click the image, HoverBox2 fails and my image opens in a browser window. I click back, and try again. I repeat this and maybe on the 3rd or 4th time HoverBox2 will work.

Multiple tries on random images before HoverBox2 works is my issue. Any clues to what might be causing this?

I have a similar issue with this contribution. Any productsin my document categories open up in a browser window like your second screen shot.. Plus I thought that this would allow me to control which categories I use the lightbox feature with.. I am thinking about removing it..

I also have the same thing happening. Please someone help! Is the lightbox a more dependable mode?

I could be completely wrong but things seem to work okay as long as the following file loads before clicking on the image to enlarge it.

includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/images/blank.gif

Once this image loads then if you click on view larger image it seems to work okay. Normally, a person visiting your site has to read the description 1st then click on the view larger image. As the owner of the site, I was clicking on view larger image almost immediately and HoverBox2 wasn't working. If you let that blank.gif file load then try to view the larger image it should work.

Huhm, so doesn't it imply that your server is so slow that the file is not loaded immediately then?
BTW, after the first time loading it, your web browser should have cached that specific file as well and doesn't need to reload from the server.

I have no clue but that sounds about right. I upgraded my account at Lunarpages.com so I have a Dedicated Ip Address. Now my site loads much quicker and I haven't had any issues with HoverBox2.

By the way, great hosting service at Lunarpages.
