turn off image text?

Hi everyone,

Is there any way I can turn OFF the text that appears when I hover over an image with the mouse? I would like to eliminate that if possible.

I wanted to turn it off for all images... but if it's great spider food, I might not want to (smile). I can live with it, it's just that now that I have IM2 working, the text appears on top of the "zoomed" image.

guess I will just live with it...

That's neat that we are following each other. I tell you where I went next. I found out how to add shadow boxes (sorta) for my images. If your interested I can tell you how now (smile).

I am actually at the point where I feel like the design is past the major hurdles and now its a matter of adding products and configuring shipping/taxes. This is a good place to be.

Hi again... Yes, I'm about through with the design part too. Shame because that's my favorite part. Maybe I will start making themes or something now (smile). You know I had a really hard time with the shipping part. What did you do? or what was your decision on what to do. For now, I just pulled numbers out of the air. I'm using "zone rates" and I'm going by weight. I really would be interested in what you did.

Oh.. for the picture shadow boxes... put this in your stylesheet.css:

#newProductsDefault img {
border: 5px outset white;
}

Then take a look at a page that has "new" products on it. Gray is also a good color. Do you know anything about the "peek-a-boo" bug. That's what I'm working on now. I have a background image in IE that acts really strange due to this bug. If you have come across this, let me know.

I would also like to turn off the hover image text. I installed IH2 and the hover image text displays over the top of the hover pop up image. Anyone know how to do this?

Are you referring to the image drop shadows? If so, they're part of the image. So I'm guesing Photoshop, Fireworks or some similar software was used.
