Products with set default attributes

I have about 1,000 products to upload to my zen-cart. I have installed Easy Populate and i've seen how it works and understand the procedure. The problem lies not in the mass uploading of the products but setting the attributes. For example, every product that I want uploaded via Easy Populate i'd like them all to have the same "Downloadable Product" attribute set, along with pointing to the same filename.

Is this possible? Thanks in advance.

How many and why different listings for the same file downloas?

The reason for having all the products download the same file is because we have a custom PHP script that downloads files from the amazon s3 service based on the product title.
