How to add PDF to product page ?

hello.
I have number PDF files that show products and information , i was wondering if there is any way with zen cart that i can add pdf to the product detail page ?
do i have to upload and make a link or is there easier way to select pdf from a list and insert it to the product page ?

Sure in the description you can.
You can do two things make a link with text or use the image (icon) of the pdf.
Have your pdf in a folder it can be any where. Highlight the text or Icon and then look for a chain Icon thats the link button. Click on it and provide the link where the pdf is at, and the rest of the information, ie if you want it to open in the same window, a new window.

PS if you're using Icon/image I would save the image in your image folder. There is a picture frame that is the image placement. Click on that and fill in the info. Use the chain icon for the path for the pdf

Another thing you could do is under Extras -> Media Types... add pdf as a media type. And create an entry for it in the Media Manager, and assign it as a preview for the product you wish to link it to.

Note: Your product page, would have to be designated as a Music product type for this to work, but you wouldn't have to use any artist or label fields. As long as you're not using Manufacturer type information with a dropdown menu, this would work.
