Maximum 1 product in shopping cart

Im offering 3 products, but the customer can only choose one of the three.
Thye cant pick the one then go and pick another as its too different addresses and it just doesnt work, but the customer may think they can do this as a bulk order, which they cant.

Is there a way of once there is 1 item in the shooping cart, they cant add anymore unless they delete the one thats there.

Can you sell them as one item with the three options as attributes? Then use radio buttons so they can only pick one.

Its a good idea yes. So I take it it cant be done by just making something true or false in admin.

But will give that a thought and see what they say.

Not that I'm aware of. I'm sure you could modify code to force them into check-out once there is an item in the cart, but that's beyond the scope of my knowledge. You could also inquire in the commercial section looking for custom coding assistance.

There is an Add-on for minimum order that you could adapt to be a maximum order ...
