The problem is NOT VMWare related. I tried it on a vanilla XP box with IE6 and got the error. I think IE6 is still around 30% of the browser market, so this is a large chunk of customers.

Can someone please test their install with IE6 and verify that it does or does not work?

Yes, you can see the error page at the URL below (remove the '+++'s from the URL)

I notice the same problem on another of my websites on a different host. Works great with every browser except IE6.

Any help or suggestions would be "mucho appreciado".

    I receive a good lock in IE6....

Might try and clear your browser cache and if on a win box also try opening a cmd window and entering

    ipconfig /flushdns

thanks for the suggestions. Icleared all files and cache, ran ipconfig /flushdns, rebooted modem, routers and PCs, tried on multiple machines in my office. all the same result with IE6.

IE6 shows a good lock, but the tooltip popup on the comodo secure site shows an error on the SSL pages (works fine on non SSL pages).

    Stab in the dark???

Do you have a file named csshover.htc in your includes dir?

If not I think it is part of the distribution?? might try it - again a stab in the dark.

thought you might have had it there, but no joy. I used to have csshover.htc from the css-flyout-menu mod back in zen 1.3.0. It came out when I upgraded to 1.3.7 (don't remember exactly why). I tried putting it back in the includes dir but it didn't seem to make any difference.

I've searched through the code and there doesn't seem to be much that can go wrong, unless it's something with the Comodo .js code that is not IE6 compliant. But still, you say the popups work fine with your IE6?

I get the same but I have Cookies blocked for these type situations. IE apparently thinks there is no Privacy Policy for your site.

When using IE 6, look within the Toolbar to see if you get an Eye with Red stop sign, see what msg. it tells you.
