Getting repeated dates in Admin Counter History

This just happened to me as well multiple dates, it was only one date 9/16/2008 the date was repeated a total of 4 times. I when into PHPMYADMIN and deleted the extras.

Any idea to why this would happen?

Same thing happened to me today. Today's date is duplicated. I quote:
"Counter History for last 10 recorded days Session - Total
11/06/2008 136 - 157
11/06/2008 136 - 157
11/05/2008 623 - 677
......"

This is the first time this has happened and I have not added any modules, updated or done any significant editing of code for weeks.
I don't like unexpected things on our site so will try and fathom whats going on. Meanwhile, I'd very much like to know if anyone else can work out why this happens.

Just to keep this thread active, it has happened two more times since me last post on this issue.

Has your server been restarted or a backup restored?

If you go into phpMyAdmin and browse the table for the:
counter_history

Do you see duplicate records in there?

The server igets backup every night, I have only restored once and the date issue did not happen.

Yes, in PhpMyAdmin the dates are in there and they can be removed. That is how I have been fixing it when it happens. Acually I only fixed it once, the others I have just left there because it is not hurting anything.

I have never seen the dates repeated on the counter_history before ...

Is this a clean install of v1.3.8a or an Upgrade?

What add-ons have you installed?
