red flag Product images are all squased to the left

    Hi,

I was wondering why sometimes the product listing does not display properly as in the images are all squased to the left. I have 4 images displayed per row.

Not sure if this only happens in Firefox. But sometimes I have to refresh several times to make it display correctly. Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Check the float etc.. in your stylesheet for positioning of elements. If elements are moving around the page on you unexpectedly, chances are it has to do with the width of various elements surrounding it (this can be found in the stylesheet).

You'll have to do some searching for it, but you'll probably find your answer there. :)

red flag Re: Product images are all squashed to the left

    Hi,

Thanks for your response. I am not sure what to look at in the stylesheet as I don't understand why sometimes it's in a mess sometimes it's not. The mess also goes away after refreshing several times.

Sometimes it is ok, and sometimes not could be due to other items showing and not showing on the page that have varying widths. When one with a width slightly larger than the previous (and that overlaps other divs on the page) is present, the information on the page will "shift" (out of line).

When items show that are "within the width settings" for you have set, all looks ok.

To easiest way (although it takes time) to figure out what part of the stylesheet is the culprit is to view your site in a browser and get a page that looks "out of line".

Then, do a "view source" on that page. Search for the section of code that is out of line, and make a note of all styles (classes and divs) around that element.

Open your stylesheet and search for these elements. Start altering from there. It might be trial and error if you can't spot the problem right away, but you should find our answer.

    Good luck!
