    Default Is this Possible?

I am looking to incorporate my paypal fee that i am charged into the site as a charge.

So i would like something that would take the subtotal and then add 2.9% + .30 cents to it.

I see a service and my customers are already aware of this charge and pay it now. Im setting up a webshop for them to easily purchase, but am having trouble with this option

    Any ideas.

Adding a surcharge such as that will scare away more shoppers than you can possibly imagine......

If you REALLY need to collect this, instead of just deducting it as the business expense it is, build it in to your pricing.

Thanks for the reply.Im not worried about scaring away shoppers as i know most of the shoppers and they already know about this charge and pay it if they choose to pay with paypal.

Theres really no way to add it into the product pricing.

Paypal charges me 2.9% plus .30 of the money i receive. So i was wrong id need it to take the order total, Subtotal plus shipping charge and add 2.9% plus .30 cents to it.

Payment processing is the price of doing business.... IF you must recover this charge you must add it into your pricing you cannot, as Merlin stated, add a PayPal surcharge. This is very clear in PP's TOS.

One more time - unless you are in the UK - Your PayPal TOS does NOT allow you to add a surcharge to a PyPal order.
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

It's more likely the US law in general.
"We want to be treated equally"

Anyhow, it's a good thing, I dont want to pay more just because I choose a different payment method. Just build it in the price, increase the price by 20c for example, you get some here, lose some there, overall you get what you want.
