    Default Side Column Width

    I'm brand new to this, but I think I've made some big strides by reading the forums and FAQs, so THANK-YOU for that! I'm having an issue with the with of the sidebox columns on my site. The left column changes with the width of the screen and the right one does not. I want them to remain the same at all times.

    My site so far: Here

    I've set the Configuration > Layout Settings of the boxes and the columns to 175. Other than that, I don't know what I've changed...

    And ideas how I can fix this?
    Thanks so much in advance,

    Joanna

    Hello Joanna

    There are a few sections to change from the same page.

    Two at the top:

    Column Width - Left Boxes
    Column Width - Right Boxes
    and a bit further down the same page you will see:

    Column Width - Left
    Column Width - Right
    Set these to the same as the fist ones.

    Hope this helps

    Ive just checked your site in FireFox and Internet Eplorer and they are resizing the as you want them to.

    What I did notice was your header is in the middle of the page when viewed in Internet Explorer and on the right hand side when viewed in Firefox!

    You might want to download firefox browser to check your site.

    All the best

    Andrew,
    Thanks so much for giving of your time. Why would this not be showing how I want it on my screen (I have IE)?
    It's especially when I click on a product... The sizing is WAAAY off...

    Thanks again

    This shouldn't be necessary because the width numbers are showing as specified in the HTML in view source, but...
    Add this to the bottom of your stylesheet:
    Code:
    #navColumnOneWrapper, #navColumnTwoWrapper {
    	width: 175px;
    	}

    Oh, thanks guys... it's always something stupid... I figured out I just didn't add the "px" after 175.
    Thanks anyways!
