log in header box: how to install one

hello everyone.
i wil mostlikely need to code this one won't I ?
well i just tought that if someone is willing to give it a look too it wouldn't hurt, and seeing no topic here i decided to open one.

i know where to add the box to show it in the header, i know how to do it to, but... is there a code i can obtain from a premade loginmodule?
I can not find ANY login function code, and i do not know in which file to look for it.
anyones' help would be fully appreciated.
BTW, compliments on the zencart in general, if it wasn't for some lack of custumization options in the back end it would be absolutely flawless B)

As this does not exist in the admin files currently this is more involved - but for the code that you might be looking for(or parts of it) look at includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_create_account_default.php and remember that this is in a div intended for the center and you will probably have to create another div to be included in tpl_header.php where your box is to be

well that got me looking into the files and eventually i found the corect one.

can anyone explain EXACTLY what zen_set_field_length() does?
i figure is a php class or rather a function that takes any ammont of values and returns them to the screen into a supposedly perfect imputbox
which is needless to say ios not perfect...
all i'm having trouble with right now is getting the buttons to look like they are supposed to, but i'm starting to think they never will unless i make a different property to call for to create the button where i need it, Just as for the labels...
