    Default drop down menus problem!

    Afternoon all,

Not sure if this is the correct forum to be posting this in so please forgive me if I should posting this elsewhere!

My problem is this - I have customised my zencart to use the colour scheme that is in keeping with the clients wishes and it is all fine and dandy apart from a couple of elements - the drop down menus and also the text fields (shipping estimator page) are not showing up the text as they should for some reason they are showing a black background with black text - which to any user coming to site makes it appear as though there are no other options to choose from unless they roll over it on the drop down menu.

How can tell the drop downs not use the css and just display as they normally would? Is there a way of excluding them or should I make drop down and text field specific css for these? If it is the latter what reference would I use when creating the css?

Sorry for the mundane nature of this question but is causing me eleventh hour hassles!

Any help will b be most welcome
    ;-)

    Thanks in anticipation
    D

Could you post the link to your store so we can better understand the problem.

I have attached a couple of screen grabs of the problem - when the drop down is not selected it has a white background and white text - but if you look at the selected screen grab you will see that all of the list goes is black background with white text!!!

Where do I fix this and get some consistency! - preferably always a black backround?

The same problem is happening with the text field and submit buttons - if you look at pic 3&4 you will see what I mean - is there a specific line in the css that is causing it? or is there any css that will allow me to overwrite all the other css and make the form elements look exactly as I want them?
