    Default Admin not getting emails

I'm beginning the testing phase of a site I'm working on and when I place test orders or fill out the contact us form the emails are getting to the admin.

With my test orders, the customer emails came just fine.

I feel like I must be overlooking some setting.

I've checked Junk Mail folders to see if it was filtered and not there either.
And in Configuration > E-Mail Options I have set "Send Copy of Order Confirmation Emails To" to my email address
    Delivery method is PHP

Are there any settings beyond those that are required?

    Thanks for any advice!

If you change your delivery method to SMTP or SMTPAUTH and fill in the SMTP settings, does that help?

    Thanks for the recommendation:
I looked into the SMTP / SMTPauth however the host I am on doesn't use SMTPauth, instead opting for POP before SMTP. I dug around on the wiki and didn't see any mention of support for POP before SMTP, is that correct?

Which leaves me with PHP, sendmail, sendmail-f (I tried Qmail and it didn't work)

I am testing with 3 email accounts, a free hotmail, my work address, and info@ the domain that the site is hosted on. Oddly enough the only one that gets through is the hotmail account. I would have guessed that the hosted email accounts would have been more likely to succeed rather than a free web based service.

So it looks like the PHP mail function is working but it's getting blocked to certain addresses at some stage of the sending process.

Yes, that's the most common cause of non-delivery.
    Sometimes blacklists are the problem.
Sometimes other issues -- many are discussed in the FAQ mentioned.
Your hosting company should be able to assist in some way as well.
