Sidebox not displaying

Could anyone help me to find out why my manufacturers sidebox is not displaying in the index page. I am really eager to find out. Any advice woulod be such a help. THANK YOU

Do you have products associated with your manufacturers? Is the box turned on?

I'm having the same problem. I turn it on but it doesn't show up. I have the same issue with the shopping cart box and a few others. Some boxes work though. I have them all set to left side and "on". Search and Categories work fine. Any input on this? Oh and I'm using the "Mostly Gray" template and version 1.3.7.

Some boxes are made to auto magic - they don't show unless there is information in them - i.e. the shopping cart box is normally hidden until you add something to the cart.
