Default Pop3 to Zen Cart, directly to mySQL db

    Hi,

Not being a programmer and wanting to do many makes it difficult. Though I find the forum very helpful...so I'm here again,

I'm thinking of starting to sell through Amazon, eBay, etc.
And before I do that, I'd like to establish the workflow right.
From my understanding, they only e-mail you to notify of the order, which means that it would be like having multiple websites that sell same items.

So I'd like to insert information contained in an e-mail notified by Amazon (and/or etc.) into Zen Cart as means of an integration. With it, I can manage my customers, orders, and their possible revisit directly back to my store rather than back to Amazon.

Now my questions are, assuming I've successfully extracted all information from the e-mail (using off the shelf text re-formatting software) and have a software that's authenticated to log into my DB:
    1. What would be the query statement to add a customer directly to the DB.
    2. What would be the query statement to add an order directly to the DB, using #1's customer number.
    3. What would be the query statement to add a shipping directly to the DB, using #2's order number.

I maybe missing some more critical questions to ask because above 3 are all I can think of when a single order is processed and passed on via email. Please suggest if more needs to be done.

Thanks in advance for you help!

    Steve Kim.
